Common use of Delegates Clause in Contracts

Delegates. An employee appointed as a delegate shall upon notification by the Union to Xxxxxx Bros and the Xxxxxx Bros' site representative, be recognised as the accredited representative of the Union and they shall be allowed time during working hours subject to approval from Xxxxxx Bros to submit to Xxxxxx Bros matters affecting the employees he or she represents. There shall not be more than one (1) Delegate on a Xxxxxx Bros Project and they must be officially recognized as such by both the Company and the AWU.
