Damp Proof Course. Damp proof course shall either be with cement concrete or with cement mortar of specified thickness as mentioned in the relevant item of schedule. Damp proof course shall not be carried across doorways. It shall be laid for all walls except verandah retaining wall or for particular wall only directed by the Engineer-in-charge. It shall be laid flush with floor level or as instructed by the Engineer-in-charge. Damp proof course with cement concrete shall be of 25 or 38 mm thick in cement concrete M15/M20 as specified using 12mm. and down size aggregate well rammed and smoothened with trowel. It will be kept wet for 40 hours and after it has dried, two coats of hot bitumen shall be applied over it and allowed it to dry after which sand shall be sprinkled over it. Damp proof course with cement mortar shall be 12 or 20 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 well mixed with crude oil at 5% by weight of cement used.

Damp Proof Course. 5.1 Laying of vertical and horizontal damp proof course is to be in accordance with the regulations laid down by the Sanitary Authorities. The horizontal damp proof courses on walls are to consist of a mixture of pitch and sand applied hot.

  • Defense of the Underlying Proceeding (a) Indemnitee shall notify the Company promptly in writing upon being served with any summons, citation, subpoena, complaint, indictment, request or other document relating to any Proceeding which may result in the right to indemnification or the advance of Expenses hereunder and shall include with such notice a description of the nature of the Proceeding and a summary of the facts underlying the Proceeding. The failure to give any such notice shall not disqualify Indemnitee from the right, or otherwise affect in any manner any right of Indemnitee, to indemnification or the advance of Expenses under this Agreement unless the Company’s ability to defend in such Proceeding or to obtain proceeds under any insurance policy is materially and adversely prejudiced thereby, and then only to the extent the Company is thereby actually so prejudiced.

  • Jury Duty and Court Appearances (1) An employee who is summoned as a member of a jury panel or subpoenaed as a witness in a matter not involving the employee's personal interests, shall be granted leave with pay and any jury or witness fees shall be retained by the employee; leave granted hereunder shall not affect an employee's annual or sick leave balance.

  • Taking of Necessary Action; Further Action If, at any time after the Effective Time, any further action is necessary or desirable to carry out the purposes of this Agreement and to vest the Surviving Corporation with full right, title and possession to all assets, property, rights, privileges, powers and franchises of the Company and Merger Sub, the officers and directors of the Company and Merger Sub are fully authorized in the name of their respective corporations or otherwise to take, and will take, all such lawful and necessary action, so long as such action is not inconsistent with this Agreement.

A firm or individual placed on the Suspended Vendor List pursuant to section 287.1351, F.S., the Convicted Vendor List pursuant to section 287.133, F.S., the Antitrust Violator Vendor List pursuant to section 287.137, F.S., or the Discriminatory Vendor List pursuant to section 287.134, F.S., is immediately disqualified from Contract eligibility.

  • Investigations and Proceedings The parties to this Agreement agree to cooperate fully in any securities regulatory investigation or proceeding or any judicial proceeding with respect to each party’s activities under this Agreement and promptly to notify the other party of any such investigation or proceeding.

  • Court Appearances If an employee is subpoenaed to appear as a witness in a job-related court case, not during the employee’s regularly assigned shift, the employee shall be credited for actual time worked, or a minimum of two and one-half hours, whichever is greater.
