Common use of Criminal Background Checks Clause in Contracts

Criminal Background Checks. ‌ An individual provider whose criminal background check is not completed within two (2) years of the previous criminal background check and is not sent a written notification by the department or its agents informing them that they are no longer permitted to work, will be allowed to work and be paid for the hours they work that are within the Individual Provider’s work week limit and the client’s authorized hours as verified by the individual provider’s timesheet. Individual providers will be allowed to work and be paid until the criminal background check process is finished or until such time as the individual provider is sent written notification that they are no longer permitted to work.
