Creating Economic Prosperity a prosperous, innovative, knowledge-rich, competitive and eco-efficient economy providing full high-quality employment. We understand the agenda to place critical importance on addressing employment exclusion particularly from those susceptible to economic discrimination: women, BME, offenders, health and age. Our proposal addresses objectives b&c above by: • Creating a vehicle through which regional VCSEs develop and offer offenders vocational, personal and societal improvement • Reducing the economic and social exclusion of offenders: growing their entrepreneurial skills and activities • Reducing crime and its impacts. • Creating social enterprises allowing offenders to achieve economic independence. The positive impact of an offender gaining a job on reduced recidivism is well documented (Xxxxxxxxx Xxxx Xxxxxx et al; 2005) and recognised by ETE programmes within Prisons and Probation. Offenders face significant barriers in gaining jobs and are extremely vulnerable where labour supply is high and they face significant competition. By improving the employment support available to offenders, by creating jobs within dedicated social enterprises and by assisting offenders to direct their own enterprise activities, offenders will be able to positively contribute to, rather than negatively hinder, greater social and economic sustainability.   • Cooperation with Economic Studies If ICANN initiates or commissions an economic study on the impact or functioning of new generic top-­‐level domains on the Internet, the DNS or related matters, Registry Operator shall reasonably cooperate with such study, including by delivering to ICANN or its designee conducting such study all data related to the operation of the TLD reasonably necessary for the purposes of such study requested by ICANN or its designee, provided, that Registry Operator may withhold (a) any internal analyses or evaluations prepared by Registry Operator with respect to such data and (b) any data to the extent that the delivery of such data would be in violation of applicable law. Any data delivered to ICANN or its designee pursuant to this Section 2.15 that is appropriately marked as confidential (as required by Section 7.15) shall be treated as Confidential Information of Registry Operator in accordance with Section 7.15, provided that, if ICANN aggregates and makes anonymous such data, ICANN or its designee may disclose such data to any third party. Following completion of an economic study for which Registry Operator has provided data, ICANN will destroy all data provided by Registry Operator that has not been aggregated and made anonymous.

  • Cultural Resources If a cultural resource is discovered, the Purchaser shall immediately suspend all operations in the vicinity of the cultural resource and notify the Forest Officer. Operations may only resume if authorized by the Forest Officer. Cultural resources identified and protected elsewhere in this contract are exempted from this clause. Cultural resources, once discovered or identified, are not to be disturbed by the Purchaser, or his, her or its employees and/or sub- contractors.

  • Academic Program The Charter School shall operate the academic program in accordance with this Agreement, the Charter School’s Application, and applicable state and federal law, including providing at least the same equivalent time of instruction as other public schools and complying with assessment and accountability laws and rules (T.C.A. § 49-13-111). If the Charter School is performing below standards, the Authorizer may review the academic program. The Charter School will notify the Authorizer of any material changes to the academic program that are a change from the Charter School’s Application, and the Authorizer will evaluate to determine if they are material changes to this Agreement. Any changes to the school structure shall be considered material to this Agreement and shall not be permitted unless a formal amendment to this Agreement is secured in advance according to the provisions outlined in T.C.A. § 49-13-110(d), Commission Rule 1185-01-01-.04, and this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, school structure shall be defined as the academic focus or goals of the Charter School and grade levels served.

  • CLEAN AIR AND WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT Customer Purchase Orders using federal funds must contain a provision that requires the Contractor to agree to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387). Violations must be reported to the Federal awarding agency and the Regional Office of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Pursuant to the Federal Rule above, Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with all applicable provisions of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387) and will remain in compliance during the term of the Contract.

  • CLEAN AIR ACT AND THE FEDERAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT (a) If the Sub-Recipient, with the funds authorized by this Agreement, enters into a contract that exceeds $150,000, then any such contract must include the following provision: Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387), and will report violations to FEMA and the Regional Office of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

  • Diverse Spend Reporting If the total value of the Contract may exceed $500,000, including all extension options, Contractor must track and report, on a quarterly basis, the amount paid to diverse businesses both: 1) directly to subcontractors performing under the Contract, and 2) indirectly to diverse businesses that provide supplies/services to your company (in proportion to the revenue from this Contract compared to Contractor’s overall revenue). When this applies, Contractor will register in a free portal to help report the Tier 2 diverse spend, and the requirement continues as long as the Contract is in effect.

  • CULTURAL DIVERSITY The Cultural Diversity Requirement generally does not add units to a student's program. Rather, it is intended to be fulfilled by choosing courses from the approved list that also satisfy requirements in other areas of the student’s program; the exception is that Cultural Diversity courses may not satisfy Culture and Language Requirements for B.S. students. For example, Anthropology 120 can fulfill (3) units of the Behavioral Science requirement and (3) units of the Cultural Diversity requirement.
