Conversion of Illness, or Injury Leave Upon Separation from Employment Due to Retirement or Death. Each person who is employed by the District and who subsequently terminates employment due to retirement or death may personally, or through his or her estate in the event of death, elect to convert all eligible, accumulated, unused illness or injury leave days to monetary compensation pursuant to RCW 28A.400.210.
