Required activities include, but are not limited to: ⮚ Professional Development (defined as learning activities which involve the District professional staff for the purpose of improving instruction) ⮚ Individual Student Learning Plan Development and Process (SIT/MTSS/IOP/IEP) ⮚ Instructional planning/curriculum work ⮚ Professional learning community collaboration ⮚ Faculty/building leadership meetings ⮚ Informal and formal meetings with colleagues ⮚ Meeting with parents and studentsOther professional responsibilities as determined by District/building plans The Department of Teaching and Learning will annually identify a professional learning structure appropriate to the District’s instructional needs. The learning structure will outline District activities and provide focus for the development of building activities. Each building leadership team consisting of administration and licensed professional leaders will then develop a proposed building plan that defines required building-level professional learning time and present a framework for the year. Of the approximately 2.25 hours of professional learning time allowed each week, 30 minutes should accommodate professional learning time activities performed at the discretion of the employee and an additional 30 minutes to be used at the discretion of the building principal for supervision or tutoring, or other professional learning time activities for a total of approximately 32 hours annually. Building plans will be due September 1st and reviewed by the Superintendent’s Council consisting of District Administration and ENEA (Executive Council) Officers.
Contractual Hours. It is the responsibility of the Home Care Management Team to ensure allocation of work meets the contracted hours of each member of staff and to ensure equity and fairness in the allocation process. It is the responsibility of each member of staff to ensure their availability in order to work their contracted hours each week. Where a client’s circumstances change such that the employees hours do not match their contractual hours, then other home care work will be offered within the area to make up this deficit. There is a contractual obligation on employee’s to accept this work. A record will be kept in each local office of work offered and work declined and the reasons for this. Where an employee unreasonably refuses an offer of work to ensure their contractual hours are met, a review of their contractual hours will be undertaken. A lower number of contractual hours may result. Team Leaders are placed at Grade 5. Home Carers are placed at Grade 3. All Home Care staff participating in unsocial working will receive enhanced pay in accordance with The Moray Council Terms and Conditions set out in the Single Status agreement, 01 December 2006. Home Care Staff will continue to be paid 4 weekly. Payment of additional enhanced or overtime hours will be paid 4 weekly in arrears. The core hours of business will be between the hours of 7am and 11pm. Staff will be expected to work either morning to lunchtime or teatime to evening. Home Care staff will no longer be required to work from morning to evening. Rolling rota systems will be introduced to ensure equity of workload and ensure service users support needs are met over a 7 day period. Home Carers will be required to work evenings and every second weekend to meet the needs of the service. Home Care staff who attend a request to work on a call out basis out with their normal working hours (7am to 11pm) will be paid on the basis of the applicable rate as agreed by the SJC and applied within the Council i.e. a set payment will be made for each occasion (restricted to one payment within each period of 2 hours). Where the call out is in excess of an hour, payment will also be made at the appropriate rate for the whole period of the call out.

  • Extra Hours For the purpose of Clause 20.13, extra hours means any hours available to be worked in excess of an employee’s regular schedule. The Corporation shall determine the extra hours it requires in each circumstance, and offer such hours to employees working in that Post Office in accordance with the provisions of this Clause. (a) On each occasion that extra hours are to be worked, opportunities to work the extra hours are to be offered to employees who notify the Postmaster beforehand of their availability, on the basis of the first opportunity to the employee who works the greatest number of regularly scheduled hours per week, last opportunity to the employee who works the least number of regularly scheduled hours per week. (b) Where two (2) or more employees are working the same number of hours per week, the opportunity shall be first offered to the employee with the longest continuous employment in that Post Office save that an employee who was formerly full-time and whose hours were reduced in accordance with Clause 12.05(a)(i) shall have priority. (i) In the application of this Clause, it is understood that a Part-Time Assistant shall be granted an opportunity to work extra hours provided that the extra hours do not conflict with her regular schedule, and provided she does not work more than eight (8) hours per day, or forty (40) hours per week. (ii) Subject to Clause 20.13(c)(i) the Part-Time Assistant who is granted the first opportunity to work extra hours should, while the opportunity lasts, end up working a total number of hours that is not less than the total number of hours worked by the Part-Time Assistant who accepts the second opportunity, and so on for each subsequent opportunity granted. (d) Where all the extra hours to be worked cannot be covered by application of the principle expressed in (a), employees may be assigned to work the extra hours that cannot be covered, and/or those hours may be covered by other means. (e) Application of this Clause entails no obligation on the part of the Corporation for equal distribution of extra hours.

  • Operating Hours Subject to Building Rules and Regulations and such security standards as Landlord may from time to time adopt, the Building shall be open to the public during the Building Operating Hours and the Premises shall be open to Tenant during hours other than Building Operating Hours.

  • Shift Hours All shifts assigned by the Employer must conform with the following guidelines: (a) Four (4) hour shifts will be the minimum shift permitted in any one (1) day. (b) Shifts of 4, 6 or 8 hours may be assigned, subject to the provisions of Article 9.05.

  • Ordinary Hours (a) The ordinary hours of work of full-time Employees shall be 36 hours per week and may be worked in accordance with this clause. (b) The ordinary hours of part-time and casual Employees will be in accordance with clauses 5.3 and 5.4.
