Contractor and Subcontractors are Employers. The Contractor and any subcontractor engaged by the Contractor pursuant to this Agreement is an employer for the purposes of the Workers Compensation Act, the Employment Standards Act, the Income Tax Act, the Employment Insurance Act, and the Pension Act and for the purposes of any other legislation affecting employment.
