Continental Work Week. The Company and the Union agree that the continental work week is for all new employees hired after March 11th, 1989, in the shipping and maintenance department. Continental work week means an employee may work any five (5) consecutive days with two (2) consecutive days off.

Continental Work Week. During the 2011 negotiations the Parties agreed that, subsequent to the renewal of the collective agreement which expired August 31, 2011 they would discuss the possibility of implementing continental work week schedules for a limited number of employees within the bargaining unit. This discussion may include implementation of twelve (12) hour shifts and may include schedules spanning weekends. The parties will discuss potential schedules and applicable premiums and other relevant concerns. The parties may, by mutual agreement, modify the existing premium pay provisions as a result of such discussions. EXTRA HOURS OF WORK AGREEMENT In accordance with section 17 of the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (“Act”), the parties agree as follows:
Continental Work Week. 1. The Company retains the right to maintain, or revert to, temporarily or permanently, the five-day work week (working Monday to Friday inclusive with Saturday and Sunday as rest days) for departments or classifications where this is deemed necessary.
Continental Work Week. The Company will agree to the Union’s proposal regarding the implementation of a 5- day continental workweek on a trial basis, if the Union proposal does not result in higher cost compared to the current 3-shift schedule.
Continental Work Week. An alternative to the regular work week may be introduced under the following terms and conditions; The regular scheduled work week will be six (6) consecutive days. The regular work week for an employee shall consist of thirty six (36) hours divided in three (3) consecutive days of twelve (12) hours each to be worked from Monday 6:30 AM to Saturday 6:30 PM. Employees shall be compensated at the rate of thirty-seven and one half (37.5) hours pay per week even though only thirty-six (36) hours of work has actually been performed. The Employer will contribute the equivalent of five (5) shifts worth of contributions per week on behalf of all employees into the pension plan. If an employee becomes ill they will be paid on the following basis; - First 7.5 hours – no pay - Next 15 hours – full pay from the company - After the first 22.5 hours – group insurance All work performed on a Sunday shall be paid for at (2) times the regular rate of pay.

  • Normal Work Week The normal work week shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours, and the normal daily hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours, exclusive of a meal period. The normal work week shall be Monday through Friday and the normal workday shall be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week shall be thirty-five (35) hours and is composed of five (5) consecutive standard work days.

The length of time over which the hours of work per week are to be averaged shall be determined locally and shall be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix.

  • Normal Work Day The normal work day shall be eight (8) hours and the normal work week shall be forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday, provided however that nothing herein shall be construed as guaranteeing any EMPLOYEE eight (8) hours of work per day or forty (40) hours per week. A single shift shall consist of eight (8) hours of continuous employment, except for unpaid lunch period, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • DELIVERY: FOB DESTINATION, INSIDE DELIVERY, FREIGHT PAID Whenever possible, contractors should give the ordering entities 3 working days prior notice of any deliveries and/or installations. Furniture contractors will not be responsible for the removal/moving of existing furnishings unless requested by the ordering entity. Contractors should verify site readiness prior to delivery. All deliveries will be made during normal working hours unless otherwise arranged with the ordering entity. Contractor will communicate any scheduling delays and/or changes immediately. Agencies will not be responsible for any freight damage, concealed or otherwise.
