CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES a. After the Project is awarded, the Engineer will provide a Contract Amendment for Construction Engineering Services
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES. ▇▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, At your request, we have prepared this work authorization to provide construction engineering services for the proposed ▇.▇. ▇▇▇▇ Park SNF Renovation. We have provided a separate bid recommendation for the contractor award in the amount of $7,999,966.00 with a contingency of $750,034.00 for a total potential project construction cost of $8,750.000.00. We are proposing to invoice the services detailed below on a time and expense basis with budgets established based on percentages of that construction cost. More specifically:
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES. CONSULTANT will provide the following scope of services to assist the CLIENT with construction observation and administration of the construction contract for the roadway resurfacing PROJECT.
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES. 1. Review of developer-provided construction stakes as required.
2. Observation of the construction in progress as required.
3. Observation of the pressure test required by the specifications, and any re-testing which may be necessary, and sampling of the completed water main after flushing and submittal to the Washington State Department of Health for bacteriological examination.
4. Final review of the complete water main extension and preparation of a report setting forth any deficiencies that may exist.
5. Review of deficient work and final two-year review.
6. Final review of the completed water main extension and examination of require documents to assure that the District has legal title to the necessary easements and/or rights-of-way, review and approval of the Developer's warranty and bill of sale and preparation of a final recommendation of acceptance of the water system by the District.
7. Revision of drawings to conform with construction records. Provide certification to Department of Health. The fee for construction Engineering services shall be on an actual time and expense basis. An estimated deposit shall be made in the amount to cover the actual time and expense cost of providing construction Engineering and Inspection services.
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES. WMC will provide construction administrative services as may be requested by the City of Stamford, including review of contractor submittals, inspection and administrative services. The scope of services and fees for these tasks will be negotiated at the completion of the design phase of the project.
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES. Article I, Section 1 It is estimated that the construction period for this project will extend for a period of six (6) months after issue of the notice to proceed to the Contractor.

CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES. In accordance with 23 CFR 1204, Supp. D, Paragraphs e., f., and g., Attachment 0, and 49 CFR Part 18C, Paragraphs 12 and 13:
A. All contracts and subgrants for construction or repair shall include a provision for compliance with the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ "Anti-Kick Back" Act (18 U.S.C. 874) as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR, Part 3). This Act provides that each contractor or subgrantee shall be prohibited from inducing, by any means, any person employed in the construction, completion, or repair of public work, to give up any part of the compensation to which he is otherwise entitled. The grantee shall report all suspected or reported violations to the grantor agency.
B. When required by the Federal grant program legislation, all construction contracts awarded by grantees and subgrantees in excess of $2,000 shall include a provision for compliance with the ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ Act (40 USC 276a to a7) and as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR, Part 5). Under this Act contractors shall be required to pay wages to laborers and mechanics at a rate not less than the minimum wages specified in a wage determination made by the Secretary of Labor. In addition, contractors shall be required to pay wages not less often than once a week. The grantee shall place a copy of the current prevailing wage determination issued by the Department of Labor in each solicitation and the award of a contract shall be conditioned upon the acceptance of the wage determination. The grantee shall report all suspected or reported violations to the grantor agency.
C. Where applicable, all contracts awarded by grantees and subgrantees in excess of $2,000 for construction contracts and excess of $2,500 for other contracts which involve the employment of mechanics or laborers shall include a provision for compliance with sections 103 and 107 of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 327-330) as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR, part 5). Under section 103 of the Act, each contractor shall be required to compute the wages of every mechanic and laborer on the basis of a standard work day of 8 hours and a standard work week of 40 hours. Work in excess of the standard workday or work week is permissible provided that the worker is compensated at a rate of not less than 1 1/2 times the basis rate of pay for all hours worked in the excess of 8 hours in any calendar day or 40 hours in the work week. 2. License surveyor shall provide invert elevations, pipe lengths, and slopes prior to air test and TVIng of the extension.
3. Observation of the pressure test and TVing required by the specifications and of any re-testing and TVing which may be necessary.
4. Final review of the completed sewer main extension and preparation of a report setting forth any deficiencies that may exist.
5. Review of deficient work as corrected and final two-year review.
6. Final review of the competed Sewer main extension and examination of required documents to assure that the District has legal title to the necessary easements and/or rights-of-way, review and approval of the Developer's warranty and bill of sale and preparation of a final recommendation of acceptance of the sewer system by the District.

CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES. The OWNER agrees to compensate the ENGINEER for Construction Engineering Services during Construction of the Project rendered under ARTICLE I, Section 2 of this Agreement in accordance with the "Schedule of Labor Rates and Expenses" shown in Appendix A attached to this Contract.
