Common use of Conferences/Workshops Clause in Contracts

Conferences/Workshops. ‌ When the subject matter being discussed and the information being imparted at conferences and/or workshops is of value for use within the district, the Board encourages attendance by selected administrators. Efforts will be made to ensure funds being included in the district budget to finance attendance of administrators to conferences and/or workshops in accordance with the financial position of the district. Only administrators, who have applied for and received prior approval of the superintendent, or the designee, shall be allowed to attend conferences and/or workshops.
