Common use of Computation of Service Clause in Contracts

Computation of Service. If an employee is absent without pay, and that absence does not exceed two (2) years, they may be given credit for the time worked prior to the absence for the purpose of computations in the above vacation schedule. A longer period may be authorized by the Human Resources Director or designee.
