For instance, an arrangement that enables a full-time bargaining unit member to employee may work longer days in exchange for a shorter day or a day off each week. Examples of a compressed workweek schedule are: four (4) ten-hour days, or on a two (2) week rotating basis; one week an employee works the standard five (5) days with no work on and the fifth day; or next week he/she works a compressed schedule of four (4), nine-hour days and one (1) four-and-one-half day workweek where 40 hours are worked in four and one-half dayshour day.
