Comprehensive Exams Clause Samples
Comprehensive Exams. An employee shall be entitled to request up to three (3) days of unpaid leave immediately prior to a dissertation or thesis defence, or comprehensive exam. Any request must provide two (2) weeks’ notice. Leave requests will not be unreasonably denied.
Comprehensive Exams. Full time Faculty members may participate in Comprehensive Exams as part of their service to the College, but will not receive any additional compensation for doing so. Part time and Fractional Faculty, including Residents, shall not be penalized should they choose not to participate in a student’s Comprehensive Exams.
Comprehensive Exams. Full time Faculty members may participate in Comprehensive Exams as part of their service to the College in a manner similar to T3 faculty in their department, but will not receive any additional compensation for doing so, beyond course and/or course equivalencies, which may be granted by the College in its sole discretion. Visiting Faculty will only be required to participate in Comprehensive Exams if so indicated in their appointment letter.
