Components. 1. Manager or employee shall contract the District’s Human Resources Department to initiate an employee’s career planning process. District HR Department will provide employees and managers with a written overview of career planning steps and the role of the employee, manager and District Human Resources in this process. Reference to the Local 1 contractual language covering career planning and development will be reviewed with managers.
