Common use of Committee on Labour Relations Clause in Contracts

Committee on Labour Relations. The parties agree to the establishment of a Labour /management committee to discuss and make recommendations regarding issues that may arise from operations of the Florentine including the following: (1) Reviewing matters, other than grievances, relating to the maintenance of good relations between the parties; (2) Correcting conditions causing misunderstandings; (3) Dealing with matters referred to in this Agreement; including acting as the OH&S committee in accordance with WCB regulations. (4) Planning, training and skills upgrading for those employees affected by technological changes, new programs, and methods of operation, and general skills upgrading to enable employees to qualify for new positions being planned through future expansion or renovation.
