Common use of Commencement of Grid Rate Clause in Contracts

Commencement of Grid Rate. 5.2.1 Notwithstanding clause 5.1.1 - 5.1.6, a substitute teacher who substitutes for the same teacher for a period of more than two (2) consecutive teaching days shall be paid as per their grid placement commencing with the third (3rd) day.

Commencement of Grid Rate. 5.2.1 Notwithstanding clause 5.1.1 - 5.1.6clauses 5.1.3 and 5.1.4, a substitute teacher who substitutes for the same teacher for a period of more than two five (25) consecutively scheduled teaching days, shall be treated as a temporary teacher from the beginning and during the continuance of such consecutive teaching days shall be paid as per their grid placement commencing with the third (3rd) daydays.

Commencement of Grid Rate. 5.2.1 Notwithstanding clause 5.1.1 - 5.1.6A substitute teacher, a substitute teacher who substitutes after teaching five (5) consecutive days for the same teacher for a period of more than two (2) consecutive teaching days shall be paid as per their grid placement commencing with a temporary teacher for the third (3rd) dayadditional consecutive days taught for that same teacher or substitute teacher, whichever is greater, according to his or her qualifications. Submission of years of teaching experience and certification shall apply to the same ruling as permanent teachers in Clauses 3.4.6 and 3.4.7.
