Common use of Classrooms Clause in Contracts

Classrooms. The District declares its intention to maintain classroom facilities in a clean condition to include: dusting, sweeping of floors, emptying of wastebaskets, vacuuming and washing of chalkboards. It is recognized that conditions beyond the employer's immediate control (e.g., adverse weather, employee absence) may cause occasional delay in the effectuation of this intention. Teachers agree to cooperate in this endeavor, within the scope of their professional duties. Classrooms shall be treated as needed to prevent infestation by vermin.
