Claims Submission Requirements and Deadlines. All Claims must be submitted in writing by registered mail or certified mail with return receipt requested. Except for Claims disputing the amount of Final Payment, all Claims and all supporting documentation and certifications, as further detailed below, must be filed within fourteen (14) Days following the date that City notified Contractor in writing that a request for a change in the Contract Time or Contract Price, duly submitted in compliance with the Contract Documents, has been rejected in whole or in part; any Claim which is not submitted prior to Final Payment is deemed waived. A Claim disputing the amount of Final Payment must be submitted within fourteen (14) Days of the effective date of Final Payment. Strict compliance with these Claim submission deadlines is necessary to ensure that any dispute may be mitigated as soon as possible, and to facilitate cost-efficient administration of the Project. Any Claim that is not submitted within the specified deadlines will be deemed waived by Contractor.

  • Admission Requirements USERs and Participants are subject to the administrative and technical supervision and control of CONTRACTOR; and will comply with all applicable rules of CONTRACTOR and DOE with regard to admission to and use of the User facility, including safety, operating and health-physics procedures, environment protection, access to information, hours of work, and conduct. Participants shall execute any and all documents required by CONTRACTOR acknowledging and agreeing to comply with such applicable rules of CONTRACTOR. Participants will not be considered employees of CONTRACTOR for any purpose.
