Common use of City Council Approval Clause in Contracts

City Council Approval. The City Manager and Employee Relations Officer of the City and the Association have met and conferred in good faith on wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment for the Unit members represented by the Association and have reached agreements which are set forth in this MOU. This MOU constitutes a joint recommendation by the City's negotiators and the Association, after ratification of its membership, to be submitted to the City Council for its determination and approval by one or more resolutions, as the City Council may deem fit and proper. This MOU is of no force or effect unless or until ratified and approved by a resolution of the City Council. City Council Approval. The City Manager and Employee Relations Officer of the City and the Association have met and conferred in good faith on wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment for the Unit members represented by the Association and have reached agreements which are set forth in this MOU. This MOU constitutes a joint recommendation by the City's ’s negotiators and the Association, after ratification of its membership, to be submitted to the City Council for its determination and approval by one or more resolutions, as the City Council may deem fit and proper. This MOU is of no force or effect unless or until ratified and approved by a resolution of the City Council.
