Chief. If the grievance is not resolved in Step 1, the employee, with the appropriate Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, shall within five (5) working days, refer the written grievance to the Chief of Police. The Chief of Police shall have five (5) work days in which to schedule a meeting with the aggrieved employee and appropriate Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. The Chief of Police shall investigate and respond in writing to the grievance within five (5) work days following the meeting date.
