Chief. The Chief provides overall national leadership and is the responsible Federal official and allottee for the CTA Program. The Chief also— · Establishes national policies, priorities, and initiatives. · Assures compliance with civil rights. · Ensures that outreach and special emphasis efforts support the agency’s mission. · Ensures information sharing and communication. · Directs legislative activities. · Approves State and national annual and long-term performance goals. · Makes funding decisions. · Leverages staff capacity by supporting the use of Earth Team volunteers and TSPs.
Chief. An employee who has a grievance must submit in writing to the Chief within five (5) calendar days after the occurrence of the events upon which his grievance is based. The grievance shall include the name and the position of the grievant, the identity of the provisions of this Agreement involved in the grievance; the time and place where the alleged events or conditions giving rise to the grievance took place, the identity of the party responsible for causing said grievance, if known to the grievant; and a general statement of the nature of the grievance and the redress sought by the grievant. The grievance shall be signed and dated by the grievant and /or Xxxxxxx for the bargaining unit. The Chief shall give his answer within five (5) calendar days after receipt of the grievance. The Chief's answer shall be given to the grievant or the FOP.
Chief. If the grievance is not resolved in Step 1, the employee, with the appropriate Union xxxxxxx, shall within five (5) working days, refer the written grievance to the Chief of Police. The Chief of Police shall have five (5) work days in which to schedule a meeting with the aggrieved employee and appropriate Union xxxxxxx. The Chief of Police shall investigate and respond in writing to the grievance within five (5) work days following the meeting date.

Chief. If the grievance is not resolved at Step 1, the aggrieved Employee shall submit his/her written grievance to the Chief within twenty-one (21) calendar days following the receipt of the Deputy Chief’s written response. The Chief will investigate and reply to the Grievant in writing by the end of the twenty-first calendar day unless the Chief considers it necessary to hold a grievance meeting with the employee and the appropriate representative. In that event, such meeting shall be held within twenty-one calendar days following the Chief's receipt of the grievance, unless otherwise mutually agreed by the parties. The Chief, in the event a grievance meeting is held, shall have fourteen (14) calendar days following the meeting to reply to the Grievant and the Coordinator or his alternate in writing. If the grievance is not appealed to the next Step by the Coordinator or his alternate within twenty-one (21) calendar days after receipt of the Chief's answer, it shall be considered satisfactorily resolved.
Chief. Executive Officer shall be the Chief Executive Officer of AUTHORITY, and shall include such person or persons as may from time to time be authorized in writing by AUTHORITY or by the Chief Executive Officer or applicable law to act for the Chief Executive Officer with respect to any or all matters pertaining to this Agreement.
Chief. 2 The Chairperson, with or without the consent of the aggrieved employee, may take up a 3 grievance or dispute with the employee's senior officer (Chief) within ten (10) days of the 4 date of the grievous act or practice. The grievance or dispute within ten (10) days from its 5 occurrence, shall be reduced to writing, signed by the employee or xxxxxxx, and dated. The 6 senior officer (Chief) shall exert every effort to settle the grievance or dispute upon timely 7 receipt of said written grievance report and shall respond, in writing, to the xxxxxxx within 8 seven (7) working days from the receipt of said written grievance. If the senior officer 9 (Chief) fails to respond to the written grievance within seven (7) working days from his/her 10 receipt thereof, said grievance or dispute shall be presumed to be resolved in favor of the 11 aggrieved employee.
