Changes in Classification. Changes in classification may occur as a result of: (a) a decision by the Employer, consistent with an assigned change in the duties of the position; or (b) a request by an employee, following an assigned change in the duties of the position, or where the employee can demonstrate a substantive change or changes in the duties of the position; or (c) an agreement between the parties at Step 3 of the grievance procedure; or (d) a decision by the arbitrator following referral to Clause 32.6(b) of a dispute not resolved via Clause 32.4(c) above; or (e) collective bargaining.
