Change in Assignment. Current employees will be given preference in the filling of new positions. A nurse who desires a change in assignments shall make his/her desires known in writing to the individual designated by the appropriate department or division head who shall retain such requests for subsequent consideration when an opening occurs. The department will post or circulate a list of job vacancies as they occur. Where there are two (2) or more qualified employees bidding for a vacant position, preference shall be given to the most senior.
