CENTRE OBLIGATIONS AS DATA CONTROLLER. Each participating Centre (led by their PI) is a Data Controller. The Data Controller must adhere to the obligations provided in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which, inter alia, include to: • Obtain and process personal data lawfully • Keep personal data only for one or more specified, explicit and lawful purposes • Use and disclose personal data only in ways compatible with these purposes • Keep personal data safe and secure • Keep personal data accurate, complete and up-to-date • Ensure that personal data is adequate, relevant and not excessive • Retain personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purpose or purposes • Give a copy of his/her personal data to the individual, on request
