Callback on Vacation. Employees who have commenced their annual vacation shall not be called back to work, except in an emergency. An employee required to return to work from vacation shall be paid double-time portal to portal and for all hours for the recall, with a minimum of four hours. The Employer shall pay all costs associated with the recall including air, marine, rail and other transportation, accommodation, meal and sundry expenses. After the emergency has been dealt with, the employee may reschedule their current vacation time or schedule the added vacation time at another time. If the employee chooses to reschedule they may determine when to take the time off, subject to the approval of the Executive Director. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.
