Common use of Call Time Clause in Contracts

Call Time. Employees called back to duty after completion of a regular shift shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at the applicable overtime rate. This provision shall not apply to employees who are called in early prior to their regular starting time and work through their regular shift. Employees who refuse overtime work prior to their regular starting time shall not be charged with a refusal for the purpose outlined in Section 2 of this article.
