Call-Off. In the event the Employer must reduce the work 21 force for a given department for a short-term staffing 22 adjustment, then such a reduction shall occur as follows 23 provided the nurses remaining in the department are qualified 24 to perform the work to be done. 26 The following order does not prevent the Employer from 27 calling off a nurse who would receive overtime or premium 28 pay for the shift before calling off a nurse who is not eligible 29 for overtime or premium time. An exception to this will be 30 when a nurse has ten (10) hours or less break before their 31 next regularly scheduled shift; the nurse will not be called off 1 out of rotation for that regularly scheduled shift but may be 2 called off in rotation.
