Building Responsibility. In the absence of the building administration, bargaining unit members shall not be held accountable for administration or supervision of the building. The Principal shall inform the building secretary of who is in charge in his/her absence.
Building Responsibility. If temporary layoffs occur because of another unit's strike, the Child Nutrition Site Supervisor of the building shall be in charge of closing/continuing the operation of the facility at the direction of the Child Nutrition Director.
Building Responsibility. Absence of the Principal The operation of a school building and the decisions pertaining thereto are the responsibility of the building principal. When it is necessary for the principal to be absent from his/her building, the secretary shall be advised where he/she can be reached in an emergency. Should an emergency arise and the secretaries are unable to reach the principal, he/she may call the Office of the Superintendent who shall notify the administrator available to handle the emergency and/or unusual situations requiring decisions beyond the authority of the employee.
