Common use of BREAVEMENT LEAVE Clause in Contracts

BREAVEMENT LEAVE. (a) A member is entitled to receive a leave of absence, and to be paid at his / her normal rate of pay for any scheduled working days that fall within the period of the leave. The timing of such leave is to be at the option of the member, provided that the day of the funeral, if any, is to be part of the leave period. The member shall be entitled to receive this benefit in the death of any of the following: (i) Mother, stepmother and (ii) Father, stepfather and (iii) adopting Mother, and
