Common use of Bone-Marrow or Organ Donor Leave Clause in Contracts

Bone-Marrow or Organ Donor Leave. In accordance with 5 USC 6327, an employee is entitled to leave without loss of or reduction in pay, leave to which otherwise entitled, credit for time or service, or performance or efficiency rating, for the time necessary to permit such employee to serve as a bone-marrow or organ donor. The employee may, in any calendar year, use up to 7 days of special paid leave to serve as a bone-marrow donor and use up to 30 days of special paid leave to serve as an organ donor.
