Before removing Blue Signals and personal. locks the employee must assure himself that all other employees working under the protection of his/her Blue Signal and personal lock have completed their work and are made aware of the removal of this protection. No manager or employee shall remove another person's lock. The Company shall provide employees with sufficient numbers of personal locks to ensure that all equipment and tracks are locked out before being repaired, maintained, set up or trains are inspected or cars repaired. The personal lock may be removed when inadvertently left on if all reasonable precautions are taken to ensure all employees are no longer working on the track or equipment.
