Basic Eligibility. Any certificated permanent employee who has served a minimum of seven (7) consecutive years in the District shall be eligible to apply for a sabbatical leave of absence for study or travel. One (1) year of qualifying service shall be construed as seventy-five percent (75%) of the teaching days per year.
