Common use of Based on Covered California’s evaluation of the proposal submitted by Contractor in response to the Application Clause in Contracts

Based on Covered California’s evaluation of the proposal submitted by Contractor in response to the Application. (“Proposal”) and its consideration of other factors required to be considered under applicable laws, rules and regulations and as otherwise necessary to meet the needs of Covered California Enrollees, Covered California intends to designate Contractor as a QHP Issuer (as defined at 10 CCR § 6410) pursuant to Covered California’s determination that Contractor’s proposed QHPs meet the requirements necessary to provide health insurance coverage as a QHP to Qualified Individuals who purchase health insurance coverage through Covered California;
