Base Hours. For the purpose of the following provisions, "base hours" shall mean the normal aggregate number of hours to be worked by a part-time employee during any workweek. At the time of hiring part-time employees shall be advised of the possibility of having their base hours increased or reduced in accordance with the terms of this Agreement and shall be provided with a copy of the provisions of this article. Part-time employees who are hired on or after the date of signing of this Agreement shall have their base hours established at the time of hiring and the Union shall be provided with a document confirming these hours within ten (10) calendar days from date of hire.

Base Hours. Base hours of work will be set at thirty eight (38) hours per week and can be worked between the days of Monday to Sunday and determined by a roster system. On an annual basis the Roster will be such that no employee will be disadvantaged compared to the Transport Workers (Federal) Award 1998.
