BARGAINING UNIT AND RECOGNITION. 2.01 The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole bargaining authority for all employees in its offices within the jurisdiction of the Canadian Office and Professional Employees Union, Local 378, and within the classification of office and clerical workers listed in Appendix "A" or within such new classifications as may from time to time be agreed and established by the Parties. It is expressly agreed that this Agreement shall not apply to any elected or appointed officer, business agent or representative of the Employer.

The bargaining unit shall consist of all bricklayers and allied craftworkers, stone masons, and apprentices engaged in such occupational and craft work and the Employers recognize the Union as the sole and exclusive representative for all bricklayers and allied craftworkers, stone masons, and apprentices employed by the Employers for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, or other conditions of employment. Only the employees in the bargaining unit shall perform the work covered by this Agreement.
