Common use of Automatic Payroll Deposit Clause in Contracts

Automatic Payroll Deposit. Effective January 1, 1997, all employees covered by this Agreement shall, as a condition of employment, authorize the automatic deposit of their earnings to a banking institution of their choice. Only very limited exceptions to this rule shall be considered by the District. The Union specifically agrees to assist the District in enforcing this provision. There shall be no exception to this provision for new employees hired after January 1, 1997.
