Authorized Uses. Absence from duty because of illness, injury, medical or dental appointment, exposure to contagious disease, or disability due to pregnancy shall constitute proper uses of sick leave. Accumulated benefits may also be used for personal necessity, herein defined, and in connection with leaves arising from industrial accident and illness.
