Common use of Authorized Absences Clause in Contracts

Authorized Absences. No employees shall be absent from duty during their regular working hours except when properly authorized to do so, in accordance with this MOU, the Rules and Regulations of this Department and of the Board of Civil Service Commissioners.

Absence from duty in violation of this MOU, the Rules and Regulations of this Department or of the Board of Civil Service Commissioners shall be sufficient cause for disciplinary action, up to and including discharge.
