Authorization for Work and Term. Specific authorization to proceed (Notice to Proceed) with all or a portion of the work described in Exhibit A of this Agreement (Scope of Work) shall be granted in writing by SANDAG via a Task Order or a Notice to Proceed. Contractor shall not proceed with the Work unless it is authorized. Contractor’s proposal and SANDAG’s request for proposals concerning the Project are hereby incorporated by reference as part of the Scope of Work attached as Exhibit A. The Notice to Proceed or each Task Order shall set forth the date of commencement of work and any additional details concerning the scope of work pertaining to the Task Order. Contractor shall not be entitled to any additional work beyond what is set forth in an issued Task Order. All Task Orders shall be issued at SANDAG’s sole discretion. This Agreement shall terminate on or before the date shown on the cover page of the Agreement, unless extended by amendment. Contractor is advised that any recommendation for Agreement award or notice of intent to Agreement is not binding on SANDAG until the Agreement is fully executed by all authorized parties.
