Common use of Authority to Bind Contractor Clause in Contracts

Authority to Bind Contractor. Notwithstanding anything in this Contract to the contrary, the signatory for the Contractor represents that he/she has been duly authorized to execute contracts on behalf of the Contractor and has obtained all necessary or applicable approvals from the home office of the Contractor, if applicable, to make this Contract fully binding upon the Contractor when his/her signature is affixed, and this Contract is not subject to further acceptance by Contractor when accepted by the State of Indiana.
