Authorised Economic Operators. 1Member States shall each promote the establishment of national authorised economic operators (AEO) programmes to enhance the security of the supply chain and facilitate trade based on the SAFE Framework. The customs authorities of Member States shall endeavour to establish the programme develop mechanisms of Authorised Economic Operators (AEO) cooperation with a view to promote informed compliance promoting mutual recognition of AEO status and efficiency of customs controlcontrols.
