Assumption Mitigation Sample Clauses
The Assumption Mitigation clause defines how parties address and manage the risks associated with assumptions made during the drafting or execution of an agreement. Typically, this clause requires the parties to identify key assumptions underlying their obligations and to establish procedures for reviewing, updating, or adjusting those assumptions if circumstances change. For example, if a project is based on the assumption of timely regulatory approval, the clause may specify steps to take if approval is delayed. Its core function is to reduce the likelihood of disputes or project failures by proactively managing the impact of incorrect or changing assumptions.

4.1 Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is a hierarchical representation of a Project or Phase broken down into smaller, more manageable components. The top level components are called “Stages” and the second level components are called “work packages.” The work packages, shown below each Stage, contain the high-level work to be done. The detailed Project Plan, developed during Initiate & Plan and finalized during Assess & Define, will list the tasks to be completed within each work package. Each Stage ends with a “Control Point”, confirming the work performed during that Stage of the Project.
