ASSOCIATION AND EMPLOYEE RIGHTS. A. The Board hereby agrees that every employee employed by the Board shall have the right to organize, join, and support the Association for the purpose of engaging in negotiations and mutual aid and protection or to refrain from joining or supporting the Association. As a duly elected body exercising governmental power under color of law of the State of Florida, the Board undertakes and agrees that it will not directly or indirectly discourage, deprive or coerce any employee in the enjoyment of any rights conferred by this Agreement, laws of Florida, or the Constitution of Florida and the United States; that it will not discriminate against any employee with respect to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and his/her participation in any lawful activity of the Association as provided for in this Agreement.
