ASSI GNMENT Sample Clauses
The Assignment clause governs the transfer of rights or obligations under a contract from one party to another. Typically, it specifies whether such transfers are permitted, and if so, under what conditions—such as requiring prior written consent from the non-assigning party. This clause ensures that parties maintain control over who they are contractually bound to, thereby preventing unwanted or unexpected changes in the contractual relationship.
