Common use of Ascertained Merit Clause in Contracts

Ascertained Merit. The following categories shall be considered for purposes of ascertained merit (Fire Officer Courses are noncumulative, Degrees are noncumulative): Bachelor’s Degree (In a fire service related field) 12 pts. Associate’s Degree (In a fire service related field) 8 pts. RFA Fire Company Officer Academy 4pts. IFSI Fireground Company Officer 4pts. NFA Command and Control of Incident Operations 4pts.
