Arbitration Hearing and Costs. The arbitrator shall schedule and conduct the hearing in accordance with the Voluntary Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The parties in the grievance, who are United Academics and the University, shall share equally the costs and fees of the arbitrator, with the exception of fees charged for postponement, unilateral withdrawal, or cancellation, which shall be borne by the party initiating such action. Each party shall be responsible for the costs of presenting its case.
