Aquisições Federais. Esta Seção 15 se aplica a todas as aquisições do Software realizadas pelo governo federal ou para ele ou por qualquer fornecedor especial ou subfornecedor (em qualquer nível) sob qualquer contrato, concessão, contrato de cooperação ou outra atividade junto ao governo federal. O Software consiste em um “item comercial”, conforme definido em 48 C.F.R. 2.101 (outubro de 2004), e consiste em “software comercial para computador” e em “documentação de software comercial para computador”, conforme esses termos são usados em 48 C.F.R. 227.7202-1, 227.7202-3, 227.7202-4 (outubro de 2004).
