Classroom Teacher Evaluation Process (Article IV, Section 4) This employee group includes specifically those certificated staff with an assigned group of students for whom they provide academically focused instruction and hold one or more certificates as provided for under WAC 181-79A-140 (1) through (3) and (6) (a) through (e) and (g). The termclassroom teachers” does not include certificated staff who are defined in Section 3.2 below. In addition, employees who are substitute teachers and/or who are hired to replace certificated employees who have been granted sabbatical, regular, or other leave by the District pursuant to RCW 28A.405.900 shall not be considered classroom teachers subject to the Classroom Teacher evaluation process. 2. Each employee shall have access through the electronic system appropriate to the teacher’s position and track in the evaluation cycle.
