Annual Performance Review. (a) It is understood that Annual Performance Reviews are intended for personal development and therefore will not be used for disciplinary purposes. Where the Employer has concerns about work performance and behaviour, which require documentation for progressive disciplinary purposes, a separate letter of employer concern and/or employee warnings will be issued to the employee and are subject to the grievance procedure. (b) Before an Annual Performance Review is placed on an employee's file, it will be developed with the employee who will have the opportunity to: (1) discuss and influence the content; and (2) provide comments on the content of the Review form, in the employee's Comment section. (c) Employees will be paid for time incurred attending such meetings, which will be scheduled during the employee's regular working hours. (d) An employee shall receive a copy of the finalized Annual Performance Review within 14 calendar days of the Review Meeting. (e) The Annual Performance Review document shall provide for the employee's signature in one of two places; one indicating that the employee has read and accepts the plan, the other indicating that the employee has read and disagrees with the plan.
