Common use of Annual/Final Invention Report Clause in Contracts

Annual/Final Invention Report. All reports and documentation required by FAR Clause 52.227-11, Patent Rights- Ownership by the Contractor, including, but not limited to, the invention disclosure report, the confirmatory license, and the Government support certification. An Annual Invention Report shall be due on or before the 30th calendar day after the completion of each reporting period. A Final Invention Report (see FAR 27.303 (b)(2)(ii)) shall be due on or before the expiration date of the contract. If no invention is disclosed or no activity has occurred on a previously disclosed invention during the applicable reporting period, a negative report shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer.
